I am particular about woodblock prints. He also sticks to traditional techniques using water-based pigments passed down from ukiyo-e. I would like to delve deeper into the world-renowned Japanese culture. In my prints, I explore familiar phenomena, but I also give form and color to things that cannot be seen with the naked eye, and gradually turn them into prints. Recently, I have been experimenting with expressions that take advantage of the wood grain patterns of intaglio printing. Wood grain patterns can also represent water, clouds, wind, and air currents. To others, this may be a personal and trivial task, but to me, it is irreplaceable and important.
